Technical support at Coras 2014
Yesterday AVE Services provided technical AV support alongisde Liquid Media at the Coras Business Awards 2014.
The event, led by Shawn Khorrasani, was the sequel to their 2013 awards show. The Coras Business Awards see contestants pitch their business model to Shawn who, at the end of the evening, reveals who Coras will be investing in and mentoring.
The Coras business awards were hosted for a second time at the Hilton Hotel, Newbury.
AVE Services provided presentation management, sound engineering, and lighting technical support. We also provided a lectern and show laptop hire for the day and helped with the set up and take down of the set, staging, lighting, PA system and other AV equipment.

This year’s winner was Levelx.info an app company that tracks the movements of trains passing through the level crossing in Thatcham, allowing users to plan their journey to avoid infuriating queues. Levelx founder, Steve Ardagh-Walter said that his company would use the investment from Coras expand to a national market.
The evening was a great success all round with a fantastic atmosphere, live buzz, and inspirational talks from a variety of speakers. We were proud to work for such an important event for start up businesses.
