While students and staff took a well-earned break this Easter half term, the AVE Services team was busy ensuring that school AV systems are in top shape for the new term.
During the quieter holiday period, we took the opportunity to carry out essential maintenance work in school halls across the region. These spaces are often at the heart of school life – used for assemblies, performances, parents’ evenings, and more – so it’s vital that the lighting and audio equipment remains reliable and well-maintained.
Our team conducted thorough checks and cleaning of installed lighting rigs and audio systems. Using our air compression tools, we were able to carefully clean equipment, removing dust and debris that can build up over time and affect performance. With the help of our scaffold, we were able to reach high-level lighting bars and speakers safely and efficiently, ensuring that no detail was overlooked.
Every maintenance visit concludes with a detailed report outlining the condition of the equipment, noting any potential issues, wear and tear, or recommended upgrades. This gives schools a clear understanding of the current state of their systems and helps with planning for future improvements or repairs.
Regular maintenance is key to keeping AV systems functioning at their best – preventing unexpected technical issues and extending the life of valuable equipment. At AVE Services, we take pride in offering reliable, professional support that helps schools deliver seamless events and day-to-day activities.
If your school is looking to schedule a maintenance check or AV equipment review, feel free to get in touch – we’re always happy to help.
