Since 2019, AVE Services has partnered with the Health & Beauty Association (H&BA) to deliver their annual conference. What began as an audience of around 60 has grown to well over 100, and we’ve been proud to scale production each year while keeping the experience clear, reliable and engaging.
For context, the H&BA is a UK trade association founded in 1969 that brings health, beauty and personal care suppliers together for insight, networking and growth. A centrepiece of their calendar is the H&BA Annual Conference each May, where members gather for market updates and industry content.

Why this matters for delegates and speakers
For delegates, the room feels balanced and easy to listen to thanks to the line array with front-row infills, so every seat gets the same clear sound. Speakers stay relaxed because the clicker is responsive and the bright comfort monitor keeps notes and cues in view. Behind the scenes, paired laptops, directional RF antennas and an NDI/vMix workflow add resilience, so we can switch sources or recover instantly if a device acts up. Sponsors also get strong visibility through a dedicated high-brightness signage screen, keeping their brands front and centre between sessions.
Scaling with the event
As the conference has grown from ~60 attendees in 2019 to 100+ today, we’ve scaled arrays, added infills, expanded RF capacity and refined the NDI/vMix layer—without changing the familiar flow for organisers and speakers.
The result
A smooth-running conference day where presenters focus on content and attendees get clear audio, sharp visuals and zero fuss. That’s the standard we bring year after year.
The venue: The King Suite at Easthampstead Park
This year’s conference took place in The King Suite at Easthampstead Park, a modern, purpose-built events space set within 80 acres between Wokingham and Bracknell. The room is designed for large conferences and can host up to 480 guests, with amenities that include a 7m × 4m LED video wall, high-speed Wi-Fi, private bar and garden access, on-site parking and accommodation. The scale and layout suited our line-array audio and infill plan, while the built-in videowall made it straightforward to run NDI sources via vMix and keep slides, video and branding crisp across the room. The result was a professional, comfortable environment for both presenters and delegates, with easy access to breakout spaces and facilities throughout the day
