Kazuya Miura, CEO of Hitachi Capital , has opened Hitachi’s £7million office campus in the White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge.

Mr Miura travelled from Japan for the opening of the new building, called Hakuba House, meaning “White Horse” in Japanese. He unveiled a commemorative plaque and then Hitachi Capital staff given a performance by traditional Japanese Taiko drummers.

Hakuba House is an office campus and specialist vehicle preparation centre. It has been operational since May following a construction process of less than one year. It currently employs 140 staff and manages almost 30,000 vehicles.

AVE Services provided the bespoke unveiling curtains (picture), PA speaker system and technical support for the event.

In June Hitachi Capital Commercial Vehicle Solutions launched their ‘Trade-Ready’ van range. The range is aimed directly at professionals, consisting of a van, racking, and a bespoke Hitatchi tool kit available all in one package, with monthly payments.

The solution allows for a personal service for each customer, providing an easy way to upscale their fleet as their business expands. Hitachi will save time and energy for the customer by managing the whole process and providing maintenance plans.
