Located 25 miles north of Southampton, Andover, Hampshire is home to over 52,000 residents.

The town’s largest employer is the Ministry of Defence with RAF Andover based to the south of the town. During the Second World War, the RAF Staff College was the headquarters of Maintenance Command, the first British Military helicopter unit. In 2001 the Defence Logistics Organisation was formed and Andover became of its major sites.

In the late 1980s, Andover was one of the first towns in England to have a cable television franchise. Andover Cablevision dug up pavements throughout the town to lay cables and ran their own local TV channel, “Town TV”. More recently Andover became the site for Andover Sound, which was launched in 2008 along with Newbury Sound by ITV regional news presenter Ian Axton. In 2011 both stations were sold to Celedor and were rebranded as the Breeze.
