Microsoft has stayed committed to the production of inexpensive mobile phones, announcing the Nokia 130, which costs just £15.
The phone lacks internet capabilities, but can play MP3 and video files on its 4.6cm screen. The phone battery lasts more 36 days while on standby and will be released in both single and dual-sim models.
The 130 comes in black, white, red and has a microSD slot, supporting up to 32gb of files. It also includes an FM radio built on.
Microsoft has stated that the Nokia 130 will go on sale between now and September in selected countries including China, India, Nigeria, the Philippines, Vietnam, Eqypt, Kenya, and Pakistan.
