In Carterton Oxfordshire in the RAF base Brize Norton, Air Tanker put on a mental health week for all of its employees and associates to come and get involved with talks and activities.
AVE provided them with audio visual equipment to be able to have motivational speaker Sir Clive Woodward come and talk to them on site on the first day of the week.
A little bit about Sir Clive:
Sir Clive Ronald Woodward OBE (born 6 January 1956) is an English former rugby union player and coach. He was coach of the England team from 1997 to 2004, managing them to victory in the 2003 Rugby World Cup. He also coached the 2005 British and Irish Lions tour to New Zealand, losing the test series 3-0. On 6 March 2008, he had the privilege to run with the Olympic torch while going through Russell Square, London.
He is currently a pundit for ITV Sport, working on their coverage of the Six Nations and Rugby World Cup.
Clive’s speech was an inspiration to start off the week for the employees, everyone then got to talk to the former Rugby coach and have a picture taken with him before he was off again for another talk.
The multiple screens and speakers were needed as the large audience that gathered to watch his speech needed to be able to see his presentation from all angles of the room, and for the people who were standing upstairs to be able to hear.
AVE Services provided the following equipment:
- 75″ Screen
- 2 x 50″ High Brightness Commercial Screens
- 6 Speaker PA System
- Wireless Lapel Microphones
- Sound desk
- Lectern
- Staging, Skirt and a step
- Comfort Monitor
- Pipe and draping
- Technicians to setup/run/re-rig the event.
