A Night of Celebration at Bailbrook House Hotel – AVE Services Event Setup
At AVE Services, we take pride in helping to create well organised and professional event spaces. Our recent setup at the lovely Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath was a great example of how we support events with reliable AV solutions. Set in the beautiful Somerset countryside, this historic venue provided the perfect setting for an awards ceremony and party.
Setting Up the Stage
For this event, we installed a 6m x 3m stage, complete with a smart black stage skirt for a neat finish. We also set up a 6m step at the front, making it easy for award winners and speakers to step onto the stage with confidence.
A well designed stage is an essential part of any event, providing a focal point for speeches, presentations, and entertainment. Our staging ensured a stable and professional setup that complemented the elegance of Bailbrook House Hotel.
Lighting the Event
Good lighting is key to ensuring that presenters and guests are clearly visible. For this event, we installed four spotlights to brighten the stage effectively.
We used two Elumen8 Fresnel MP 120 WW lights, which provide a warm white glow, ideal for keeping the stage well-lit. Alongside these, we set up two Elumen8 MP75 Fresnel RGBW lights, which offer flexible colour options to enhance the atmosphere. All lighting was securely mounted on a Manfrotto winch stand, allowing us to position the fixtures at the right height.
Smooth Setup & Collection
Our team arrived at the venue on a bright, sunny day, ready to set up efficiently. We carefully assembled the stage, positioned the lighting, and checked that everything was working perfectly for the event.
After the celebrations wrapped up, we returned the next day to dismantle and collect the equipment, ensuring the venue was left as it was before we arrived.
