What’s the difference between a radio mic and a wireless microphone?

They refer to the same thing. “Radio mic” is commonly used in the UK; “wireless mic” is widely used elsewhere. We stock both digital and UHF analogue systems.

Do I need a licence to use a radio mic?

Licence‑exempt operation is available in Channel 70 (863–865 MHz). For more channels and robust performance, Channel 38 (606–614 MHz) with a PMSE licence is typically used. We can advise when booking.

How many radio mics can I run at once?

It depends on the band, venue and other RF users. With proper coordination and antenna distribution, multi‑channel racks (8, 12, 16+) are common.

How do I avoid dropouts and feedback?

Use coordinated frequencies, maintain line‑of‑sight to antennas, place directional paddles correctly, set gain at the source and keep loudspeakers in front of microphones.

What comes in the box?
