[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SpaceX is launching a Falcon 9 rocket at Vandenberg Air Force Base near Los Angeles to send 10 Iridium NEXT satellites into Earth’s orbit. In September 2016, Elon Musk’s rocket failed a test launch, when it blew up on the launch pad at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. It has recovered a total of five first stages using autonomous barges, which correct themselves for sea conditions and coordinate with the rocket for successful recoveries.

Take a look at the video below.

The launch countdown starts at 10 minutes and the landing is that 18 minutes but the whole video is worth a watch.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/_-iDZA2vdzc”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
