Hidden away in the Wiltshire countryside is Swindon’s Science Museum and we had the privilege of working on the grounds for a week. The museum isn’t open to the public, however in 2023 they plan to open for the first time once the 280,000 sq ft warehouse is built. The buildings currently only accessible for research or educational purposes, have large collections in such as an TV detector van and the UK’s first example of plastic electric vehicles. We were lucky enough to have a guided tour around one of the buildings, with some items being over 100 years old!
AVE Services assisted with the four day conference to help the Hydrogen Society update the media with the future plans that were happening in many aspects of technology. The blue Rosa car, forklift truck, bus and drone were on display which were all powered by Hydrogen which is better for the environment as they only produce water. The event was also powered by a Hydrogen generator for the duration that the event was on.
